Until fairly recently, most businesses were driven almost exclusively by a single goal: maximising profits.
In the past few decades, however, more business leaders have recognised that they are responsible for doing more than maximising profits for shareholders and executives. Rather, they have a social responsibility to do what’s best—not just for their companies but also for people, the planet, and society at large.

We completed the Great North Run 2025 and absolutely loved every minute of it. The atmosphere, the support, and the sense of achievement were incredible — it genuinely meant a lot to all of us. We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already signed ourselves up for 2026, and we can’t wait to take it on again while continuing to raise money for the causes that mean the most to our team.
Meet the Team and Their Chosen Charities

On 7th December 2025, Chester’s streets came alive as hundreds joined the Santa Dash, raising funds for the Hospice of the GoodShepherd. The Costelloes Team was proud to take part in the 3km run, celebrating together while supporting this cause. More than a dash—it was a chance to spread joy and back the Hospice’s work
We as a team are taking part in the Great North Run as our next big challenge to raise funds for such a deserving cause. If you would like to donate, please click the link above to sponsor us. 100% of the donation goes directly to Cancer Research UK.

THE REASON
Vickie (Director) - For a while now, I wanted to do something challenging for Cancer Research UK and to give back to all those people who work day in and day out to find the next breakthrough in Cancer trials as part of our social responsibility – hoping for one day they will find that Cure for this devastating disease that affects so many every day.
For us as a team- Each one of the Costelloes Team have had a loved one, a family member or a dear friend go through this awful disease. We have witnessed their strength, courage and bravery in their most difficult of times.
This challenge is nothing compared to what many people face every day.
