EV Charging Made Simple
All Monta points can be found on Zapmap by using the network filter. This can be used on the desktop and mobile apps, and displays only those points operated by Monta.
Charging types and speeds can be filtered too, showing only those points that are compatible with users’ cars.
Select 'Filters' -> 'Networks' -> 'Monta' to view only Monta charge points.
How to use our charge points on Monta
- Download the Monta app
- Scan the QR code on the charging device - this will open the charge point you are standing next to.
- Select charging settings and payment method
- Swipe “Charge now” on your phone
- Connect charger to the car to begin charge.
- To stop charging select to stop via the app or from your car.
Zapmap Price Index
The price to charge an electric vehicle (EV) on the public charging network can vary substantially across type of charger and network. Although prices are higher than this time last year, they have been broadly stable since March 2024.
With the significant increase in number and range of charger locations, we expect to see promotions and competitive pressures bringing down the overall cost of public charging which is good news for EV drivers.
Through the data collected to drive the Zapmap app, Zapmap tracks over 1 million charge sessions each month and the latest charge point operator PAYG ("pay as you go") prices to provide an independent picture of the price paid by EV drivers across the public charging network. Updated on a monthly basis, the Zapmap Price Index shows the difference in prices paid depending on the type of charger and will also track how this is changing over time.
